The short version

Colours you pick, paste or convert are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to a server, because there is no server-side component to send them to — every page is static HTML generated ahead of time.

What is stored on your device

A small amount of state is kept in your browser's local storage so the tool remembers your preferences between visits:

This never leaves your device and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it. If local storage is unavailable — private browsing, or a policy that blocks it — the tool works normally and simply does not remember anything.

The colour you are currently working with is also written into the page URL, so that copying the address bar shares exactly what you are looking at. That is part of the address, not stored data.

Analytics

No analytics or tracking scripts are loaded. There are no third-party cookies set by this site's own code.

Advertising

No advertising is currently served and no ad scripts are loaded. Ad slots are reserved in the layout so that adding them later cannot make the page jump around, but they are empty placeholders.

If advertising is added in future, it will be through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may then use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. Consent would be collected through a Google-certified consent management platform where the law requires it, this page would be updated before any ad code went live, and you would be able to opt out of personalised advertising viaGoogle Ads Settings.

External links

Some pages link to specifications and documentation elsewhere. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this notice does not cover.

Children

This site is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13. No personal information is knowingly collected from anyone.

Your rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored on any server, there is nothing held about you to access, correct or delete. Data kept in your browser's local storage is entirely under your control and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Changes

If this notice changes materially — in particular if advertising or analytics is introduced — the date at the top of this page will be updated to reflect it.
